Our family loves Sundays! One thing I love is when the kids are all ready for church and they sit around the CD player and listen to and sing along with "Patch the Pirate." I grew up hearing these same songs, and it is fun to hear my kids now singing them. It is not just on Sunday mornings, either.....There is nothing like hearing Brooke sing at the top of her lungs, "Wiggle worm, don't bother me. We'll have a catastrophe. Then I kicked him out of Sunday school."

I love seeing their smiles! Madyson has been reacting to her strep medicine, so she has had bad diarrhea and even threw up. I had to play piano in church today so Michael was the lucky duck to stay home with poopy-pants. I felt guilty all of us leaving them again tonight, so I was just going to go alone and play and them come home. When I was about to leave, the oldest three all said, "We want to go to church, can we please come too?" Well, how can you say "no" to that?!?! It is a blessing when they WANT to go to church...often, our oldest isn't very excited about going. So, when he wants to go, I am not about to be the one to say no :) Oh, BTW, Madyson is getting tubes put in her ears on Tues. morning. I am very nervous, but I know it is the right decision.
I will be praying for Madyson tomorrow morning. Let us know how it goes. I had the same thing happen before when one of them was sick and I was going to keep them all home. That is just one thing you can't say no to: "Mom, can I go to church, please?"
Michelle -
Ha! I found you! Last night Mom called and said, "Do you know that Michelle has a blog?" That woman! My blog she never reads, but when YOU get a blog, all of a sudden she's interested! LOL! I love the pictures of your adorable little ones! So, I just wanted to check in and say hi! We'd love to see you again. Don't worry. We finally fixed the temperature control on our shower. No more 3rd degree burns!

Ann-Marie, now that was a pleasant surprise to see a comment from you. How can I find you and your blog?
Hi, Michelle! My blog is www.lefthandedrabbit.blogspot.com and you are more than welcome to check it out. I am my sarcastic self, I am afraid. And no kid photos. Although, I do post bunny photos every now and then. I'd love to hear from you. I got to see your mom last Thursday, and she was her sweet self. It's nice that I'm getting to know her better now! Talk to you soon. P.S. - I also stayed home on Sunday, but that's because we were buried in snow! Lucky Californians!
