I know I blogged about this movie rather recently, but I am just reminding you: the movie is released this weekend. Take someone to see it :) If you cannot, then at least pray that God will work through this movie in the lives of individuals and marriages that have no hope outside of Jesus Christ. Pray that people will understand the message so clearly presented. I am passionate about this because it stands for two things that I am most passionate about: 1) God and 2) my family. Our church has bought a large amount of tickets and are giving them away to people in Ventura, particularly a condominium complex across the street from our church.

My folks took the kids for us tonight so we could have a date night for Rick's birthday tomorrow . . . AND we are going to see Fireproof. We are really looking forward to this movie. We bought the tickets yesterday because they said they were almost sold out. PHEW! Thanks for spreading the word about this movie.
I saw an awesome interview with Kirk on Good Morning America, and he really did a great job presenting a balanced view of real Christianity while promoting the values in the movie!
I'm going to try to see it - I hope it stays in theaters long enough to go to the $5 movies!
First of all, Happy Birthday, Rick :) I am so glad you too are going to see it. Just a warning, I really cried near the end.
Friends of ours went to see it this weekend and they said it was really good. They both cried, too!
BTW -- totally off topic -- I love your new haircut :)
Brian and I went to see this movie and I'll tell you this movie reminded me of our marriage and what it used to look like. And just like the couple in the movie God used some good Christians to help turn our own marriage around. I just praise God and give Him all the glory that He can take a seemingly hopeless situation and turn the whole thing around. The movie was just a reminder of where we were and how far God has brought us. It's never too late for God to do the impossible!
