State project---the cookie phase

Wesley is currently in the middle of a rather large project. It is the first of my children's projects involving rough drafts, artwork, maps, final drafts, and cookies. Yes, I did state "cookies." Wesley selected one state from the USA, and has had to research many facts about the state. His most recent phase was to make a cookie (we actually did a brownie) in the shape of this state. We then had to do some topography on the state cookie. While it sounded like a very overwhelming project, we actually had quite a bit of fun in getting it done. Even better, we were somewhat impressed with the results.

Above, we have Wesley and Andrew creating the "spice drop" mountain ranges. Now, the lingering question: What state did Wesley choose? I want to see if anyone can guess correctly. So, what state does that frosted brownie look most like?????

It is good to hear from you, girl!
Wesley did pick Tennessee because that is the state that he was born in. I am happy that someone who lives there can actually recognize it.
